Happy Holidays!

It’s been a busy few weeks and I wanted to take the time to share our holiday card and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  Special Thanks to Lisette Price for the images she took of my family!   I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday.

Remember this Belly???

Christmas came a little early this year for Graham and Stacey….

Stay tuned and maybe she will make a debut on the blog soon!

Congratulations on a healthy baby girl… I can’t wait to meet her!

Happy Halloween!!

This was the first year both of my boys wanted to be something scary or cool.  In the all the years before at least one of them was something fuzzy or had a tail… But alas they are growing up!   The days of freckles made with eyeliner have now been replaced with fake blood and plastic masks.  :(   But I can at least enjoy the loot they bring home! :)

Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Here’s a point and shoot of the boys and their candy candy haul!

Giving Back…

I met Kristen of Paintings and Polka Dots today.  Talk about inspiration, Kristen is a breast cancer survivor and the founder of Paintings and Polka Dots. She has hand made paintings for childrens’ rooms and a portion of your purchase goes to help fight breast cancer.

Check out some of her cute designs… All pictures are from her website.

If you know anyone expecting this is a GREAT personalized gift and a way to give to a great cause!

We made it!

I’ve been surrounded by boxes since Monday morning but for those who have sent me messages asking if we ever arrived… YES!  We’re here!  I’ve been diligently unpacking for what seems like forever and still can’t seem to find the exact things I have been looking for… Oh silverware… Where are you?????

And just for fun, here’s a random roadside photo, which oddly enough came to mind as I’m unpacking all our junk. :)  Happy Thursday!

Baby Brynn & family

Yesterday little Brynn turned one!  Happy Birthday Brynn!  We met at the park to get Brynn’s one year pictures and after I shot about 20 images, poor little Brynn was flush red and sweaty.  OK, OK, and I was hot and sweaty too!  So we only got a couple images before retreating to the air conditioning in our cars.  Here’s a couple cute shots of an absolutely adorable family!

This is probably my favorite, with a vintage touch…

And here’s the birthday girl…

A litle stroll with Mom and Dad

I’m guessing she might be a Daddy’s girl…

Airplane, Airplanes, Everywhere!

We took a trip down to Tucson, AZ to the Pima Air and Space Museum.  I really wasn’t sure what to expect, but was shocked at how many planes they actually have have parked in the desert.  If you are going in the heat, I would suggest taking the tram ride, as it gets pretty warm in the Arizona sun.

As always, I packed the camera, so here’s a few images…

This big guy is called a Super Guppy! No, not the guy walking down below, the plane!  he he

They even have President Kennedy’s Air Force One…

Can you guess what this is????

First things first… We have a brand new blog!  Yeah… Thank you Jared for all your hard work and coding and all that stuff you do to make things so functional.  I heart my new matching blog with great big images!

Now on to the image… Can you guess what this is???  If you guessed a pool noodle, you are almost right.  If you guess a pool noodle tied into a pretzel, you are getting closer.  If you guess a work out tool… DING DING DING!  You win!  Sorry… there is no prize, just bragging rights!

Let me explain.  My Aunt Shirley came to visit and she teaches water aerobics in Indy.  So we had our own private water aerobics class in the backyard.  At first I was thinking this would be cake… Uh… Well.. Not so much.  One of the things I learned was that if you tie a pool noodle into a pretzel, you can use it as a dumbbell in the water.   So you basically hold onto this thing and push it into the water using different methods, arms straight out or bending at the elbows, etc.  (I’m no instructor, bare with me!) And after several reps, I was actually a little sore.  So I am a believer… You can do more than float and drink margaritas in the pool!
