Or maybe I should say, not your average ballerina images. A few months ago I was contacted by Ashley, a gorgeous ballerina who was hanging up the ballerina flats and wanted to get some fun, artistic images. Gone are the days of when you would dig out your old photographs and they were weathered and faded. With today’s technology, the archival paper is made to last much longer. And with so many people archiving their digital images, they will most likely always look as they did the day the image was taken. [...]

I totally agree…and love this look on the right photo!
What a great “leaving for the honeymoon” shot. And vintage was certainly the way to go!
I do miss film sometimes, but I do not miss the darkroom solutions or getting the film canisters open in absolute darkness.
I think you hit the nail on the head…there is a time and a place for vintage! The beauty of digital is that everyone can have their own unique style and look for their photographs, and their clients love them for their uniqueness! I have to say that I do miss the beautiful gritty grain of a good T-Max or Ilford film, though
