Engagements are probably the best kind of sessions that I do. I get to go around to fun locations with fun, happy, in love couples and capture their smiles, their laughter and their love. This past weekend I photographed Leah & Matt’s engagement session on the Auburn campus. It’s so hard to pick just a few that I like, but I narrowed it down, and here’s a few of my favorites… Congratulations on your engagement!

Let me start out by saying these two were so much fun, I think we laughed the whole time! I have been talking with Marquita for over a year about her wedding but unfortunately I was booked for her date. I was so excited to finally meet her and Marcus and shoot their engagement. I think she could be a model… NO kidding! She is drop dead gorgeous and they are so in LOVE! They are adorable in every way and I had a blast. If Marcus looks familiar, it could be because he was on featured on billboards for Troy University, so he’s already made his modeling debut! Thanks for spending your afternoon with me, you are both amazing! Congratulations on your engagement, and I wish you all the best!

I would say almost all of my couples opt to get an engagement guest sign in book for their wedding. I would love to get a copy of every book to show all of my future brides, but I just don’t have the space to store them all, so I try to snap images every once and awhile so my future clients will be able to see some of the past books we have created. Each book is custom made for the couple using all of their favorite engagement images. This way, all of their wedding guests can view their engagement pictures, and the couple has all of their guest’s best wishes all in one fun book chronicling their engagement.

Brittany & Tanner >> Carillon Beach Engagement

Tanner asked Brittany to be his wife on the white sands of the gulf shore, so we headed to beach for their engagement session. Unfortunately for Tanner, he was getting over being sick, and the Alabama game was on, so he carried his radio for most of the session, up until half time that is! Here’s a few of my favorites from their session.

Tracy & Stephen >> Engaged!!!

I spent the afternoon with Tracy and Stephen shooting their engagement pictures, and they were so much fun! They have been together 11 years and are getting married next June here in Auburn. Stephen was on his blackberry in between shooting, and I thought he was working, but upon checking facebook, he was posting about how he normally doesn’t hide in bushes kissing Tracy…. Ummm…. Stephen… I can ready your facebook!! AND….. I think you were having fun hanging out in the bushes! I had fun and I hope you enjoy these few favorites! See you soon!

I am slowly catching up after a ton of weddings and sessions, so here I go with a few of my favorites! Courtney and Jason are by far one of the cutest couples ever. She is gorgeous and so sweet, and Jason is so complementary towards her, I could have just melted. At one point he carried her so she wouldn’t have to walk where there were some large rocks. How sweet is that?!?!

Jason asked Courtney to be his wife in the Sanctuary at Callaway Gardens, so we shot at Callaway as well as Courtney’s high school classroom where she is a Science teacher! Check out this rock!!!!!!

Amanda & Michael >>> ENGAGED!!!

Several months ago I had a contest giving away a free engagement session. I received a really sweet message from Amanda asking if she could enter because she loved my pictures, but she wasn’t exactly engaged yet. I told her sure…. and a few days later, I received another e-mail that her entry was now official, becuase she got engaged that week! Coincidence?!?!? I think not!

They didn’t win the engagement session, but they still had one, and here are a few sneak peeks from their session!

Michael proposed while they were out fishing on a boat… so… What better way to show off this rock…
