Now that Katie and Justin have tied the knot this past weekend, I can share a couple of Katie’s bridal images.  She is simply stunning, and I can’t wait for you to see her wedding images.

This last image was a huge canvas at her wedding.  I loved it so much I wanted to keep it!

Just one from April’s bridal session… I have so many more favorites to share, but this one is my favorite!

Back in July of 2009, I shot Stacy’s Bridal images a few weeks before her wedding.  She submitted them to East Alabama Living for their special bridal issue, and I was so excited to see that they chose her bridal portrait for the cover!  Congratulations Stacy!

Every once and awhile, something great comes along…  Something to help our local small businesses while being an amazing resource for the local community.

I wanted to share a great resource for the Auburn/ Opelika area brides and introduce you to the new Vows Bridal Directory. Vows is specifically geared towards businesses in Auburn & Opelika that are in the wedding industry.  So you won’t see any advertisers from Birmingham or Columbus, it is specifically geared  towards providing a complete listing of the local wedding vendors in our area.

The directory is free to brides and is available in most local dress shops and area wedding venues.  The directory is brought to us by Opelika resident Jen Rhodes, and she has worked so hard to put this together and I am proud to be a part of it.

Here’s a shot of the 2nd issue which is now available in many Auburn/ Opelika businesses.

I first talked to Brooke months ago about shooting her wedding, and we talked and laughed and talked about so many fun things, I felt like I had known her forever! We have like 7,004 things in common, well maybe not that many, but it sure felt like it. Our obsession for hand sanitizer was an instant bond!    So when I met her for her Bridal session it was like a reunion!  We had to take a break from chatting to shoot her bridal portraits.

We shot at the Oak Bowery Reserve right outside of Auburn, it is is truly amazing, there were so many unique areas to shoot, I could have shot forever!

Brooke is not only gorgeous, but she is also a recent law school graduate!

Brooke’s mom Jinny came along, LOVE her, and she shot pictures of me shooting Brooke!  I have on my serious face here…

Congratulations Brooke!  I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next month! 

Every once and awhile you meet “that” client.  You know, the one that tells you she doesn’t look good in pictures, and then you meet her and she is DROP. DEAD. GORGEOUS.  That’s Stacy!  Stunning in every way.

Stacy is a dancer and owns Varations Dance Studio in Auburn.  She said several moms at the studio had referred her, so thank you to all the moms that sent her my way!   Stacy was looking for traditional bridal images, but I added a little modern twist. I have been dying to post these, and since Stacy tied the knot this past Saturday, here is the beautiful Stacy Lide… Who is now Stacy Young!  Congratulations Stacy!
